Barcelona is a world famous destination with unique architecture, great restaurants, nightlife, and much more!
The Welcome Party on Friday, June 7 will be in downtown Barcelona. Additionally, it is well worth spending a few days to take in the vibe of this great city that we've called home for the past 3 years.
Downtown Barcelona is about 40 minutes away from the wedding venue. We'll arrange transportation there and back (specific details to come).
Sitges is a charming town on the coast, with scenic beaches, nice promenade and lots of interesting shops.
It is about 15 mins from the wedding venue and 40 mins from downtown Barcelona by car or train which comes at regular intervals.
If you want some beach time and/or have already visited Barcelona and want to stay closer to the wedding venue, you may consider staying in Sitges for a couple of days around the wedding day (on June 9) and checking out this cozy but beautiful town.

Sitges
Sitges is a cute town on the coast. It is nice to spend a weekend for a small vacation or a getaway. It's quieter than Barcelona with more of a beach city feel. It's 15 minutes away from the wedding venue by car. There's a direct train to Barcelona city, Barcelona Sants, or Passeig de Gracias train station (where most hotels are), it's a 40 minute train ride and trains come every 30 min until midnight.
